“It's our show now, kid. The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon.”

Thank you all for being so patient while we waited for our dates to be finalized at Harper. Due to Harper losing Theater J while it's rebuilt, they have very limited availability and we've had to make some adjustments to our regular schedule.
We are offering three casts - B, C, and D.
We will be offering STS University classes during our regular cast A time.
More details on classes will be coming soon.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE BEFORE REGISTERING

This session, we are adding two weeks onto our rehearsal schedule to give more time for our actors to learn and process their material. We will also be at Harper’s larger theater space - The Performing Arts Center!

Because of the longer rehearsal time and increased rent at both our rehearsal and performance spaces, we have had to raise our tuition. Sibling discounts, payment plans, and scholarships are available. Please email us at settingthestage1996@gmail.com to arrange.

Rehearsals and run through take place at First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights- 1903 E. Euclid Ave.

Dress rehearsal and the performance take place at Harper College Performing Arts Center -1200 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067.

PARENTS AND ACTORS: When you register for a session, you are making a commitment to your entire cast, which is just like a team. Missing rehearsal is detrimental not only to the actor missing, but also to all of their cast mates. If you will be missing more than one rehearsal during the course of a show, it will be difficult to catch up on material. Attendance is mandatory for run through, dress rehearsal and, performance.

Cancellation Policy: A $50 non-refundable deposit is included in the tuition.  Workshop tuition is refundable (minus the $50 deposit) ONLY IF YOUR SPOT CAN BE FILLED FROM THE WAITLIST up to TWO WEEKS before the workshop begins.  You may also opt to get a full credit towards a future production up until the day the session begins.  This credit expires one year after issued.
TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE THE SESSION HAS BEGUN.

Tuition price does not include tickets for the performance. Details on ticketing will be sent out once rehearsals have begun.

When Setting the Stage was founded, we had a slogan: "You won't see one star here, you'll see a galaxy!" The directors created the program to give opportunities to many young actors, not just the few who landed a major role.

Because of this, you may notice in our show that some roles are divided into multiple parts. This gives more actors the opportunity to play these parts-- and it prevents one actor from having to learn several hundred lines!

We do realize that this is probably confusing for the audience-- and for any actors who are new to our program. Please understand, this is our way of giving an opportunity to many shining stars, instead of just a few!

Registration opens Sunday, January 25 at 9:00am.

If a cast fills before you are able to register, please email us at settingthestage1996@gmail.com to join the waitlist.
